Mission Statement:

The First Presbyterian Church of Havana is a community of faith where we look for each person to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ and discover the path to follow Him.

Marianao:

In February 1996, our church opened a mission in the Marianao Community of Havana City. Every Sunday, adults and children attend worship services in this former home of a Presbyterian pastor. We have recently done some construction and created a small and lively chapel. The Marianao leadership team of elders and laypeople includes Dr. Mario Pérez Echemendía, Lic. Susana Guzmán and José Miguel Rodríguez.

Cojímar:

In this fishermen’s village just east of the city, Ernest Hemingway set his famous novel “The Old Man and the Sea.” Some years ago we started to worship God here. Now we gather once a month in the courtyard of Wilmina Dubrehuill’s home for worship led by Elder Placido Guillermo Campos. Many people in the area have warmly embraced this mission, and we pray to God for the blessing of a sanctuary in Cojímar to develop the mission’s growth.
