Partnership

The First Presbyterian-Church of Havana truly values its vital and mutually beneficial partnerships in ministry with several churches abroad, including:

Official Partner Churches:

Old First Presbyterian Church, Huntington, New York (USA): This is our longest continuing partnership. Old First is an active community, and we have welcomed several groups from this partner in ministry to our community. And over the years, many people from our congregation have been able to visit our brothers and sisters at their church on Long Island. The Pastor at this church is the Rev. Dr. Rick Raum and the chairperson of the Mission Committee is Lucy Fetterolf.

Young people from Winnetka have come to paint our church and we hope to continue to move our relationship forward.

Relaciones con otras iglesias:

Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago, Chicago, Illinois (USA): Located in Chicago’s busiest commercial district, Fourth Church is known as “A Light in the City.” It has developed a strong link with our church. Groups of adults and young adults have come to learn about our church and our reality. We have also been honored to welcome Fourth Church pastors as preachers at First Havana. We thank Revs. Buchanan and Joanna Adams and Mission Coordinator Vicki Reynolds for leading efforts to support our work.
